Snoozy Cats · Last updated: 12 October 2026
Snoozy Cats is a game developed by MITO Studios. This policy explains what data is collected and what it is for.
In short
Snoozy Cats does not ask you for an account, your name, your email, your age, or access to your photos, contacts, camera, microphone or location.
What leaves your device goes to Google: to AdMob, which is what shows the ads, and to Google Analytics for Firebase, which tells us anonymously and in aggregate which parts of the game get used and where people stop playing. None of that identifies you.
What is stored on your device, and nowhere else
Your game —Naps beaten, stars, cookies, adopted cats, active loans and your music and sound preferences— is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage.
- It is not sent to any server.
- It is not accessible to other apps.
- It is deleted completely when you uninstall the game.
- There is no cloud backup: if you uninstall, your progress is lost.
Advertising — Google AdMob
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. There are two kinds:
- Interstitial ads, which appear when a game ends, every so often.
- Rewarded ads, which only appear if you ask for them by pressing a button (for example, to double your cookies or to try out a cat).
To show them, Google may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier (a code you can reset or turn off in your Android settings).
- Technical device data: model, operating system, language, approximate country (inferred from the connection, never from GPS) and network type.
- Information about the ads you have been shown.
This data is processed by Google, not by MITO Studios. We do not see it, we do not store it and we do not share it with anyone. We only receive aggregate, anonymous statistics of the kind "X ads were shown".
You can read how Google uses it here: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your consent in Europe
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the first time you open the game you will see a consent form where you choose whether to accept personalised ads.
- If you accept, you will see ads matched to your interests.
- If you decline, you will still see ads, but not personalised ones. The game works exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time from the game's settings.
How to limit personalised advertising
On your Android: Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete your advertising identifier.
Statistics — Google Analytics for Firebase
To find out which parts of the game work and which do not, we use Google Analytics for Firebase. It is there to fix the game, not to follow you around.
What is recorded
- Which screens you open (menu, Naps, album, shop) and for how long.
- Which Nap you start, which you beat and which you leave unfinished.
- Whether you finish the tutorial.
- Whether you watch a rewarded ad all the way through, and whether you revive with cookies or with an ad.
- Any purchases made, with their amount, to reconcile revenue.
- Technical device data: model, system, language, game version and approximate country inferred from the connection, never from GPS.
- An installation identifier, which is a random code tied to this copy of the game. It is not your name, your email, or your phone's identifier. It is deleted when you uninstall.
What is NOT recorded
There is no name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location. This data is not combined with advertising data to build a profile of you, and it is not sold or handed to anyone.
How to turn it off
Measurement starts switched off. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it is only switched on if you accept in the consent form that appears at the start. If you say no, the game measures nothing and works exactly the same.
You can change your mind at any time from that same form, and you can also turn off personalisation in your Android settings.
In-app purchases
When they are active, purchases are handled by Google Play. MITO Studios never sees or receives your card number or your payment details: it only receives confirmation that the purchase went through.
Children
Snoozy Cats is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children of that age.
Permissions the app requests
| Permission | What for |
|---|---|
INTERNET |
Downloading the ads. No part of the game needs a connection: offline it plays the same, there are simply no ads. |
AD_ID |
The advertising identifier, used by AdMob. |
No other permission is requested. You can check it in Settings → Apps → Snoozy Cats → Permissions.
Your rights
Since we hold no personal data of yours in our systems, there is nothing we could hand over or delete on request. For what Google processes as controller, you can exercise your rights with Google through the policy linked above.
To delete everything the game stores, just uninstall it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated, along with the version published at this same address.
